Kathy Lepage

Based in the Des Moines, Iowa area and serving families nationwide, ConnectEd Consulting provides independent therapeutic and educational consulting for families of children, adolescents, and young adults — including neurodivergent children, teens, and young adults navigating mental health, learning differences, and the transition to adult life. As a certified school psychologist, Dr. Kathy Lepage brings particular expertise to families navigating IEP and school-based support alongside therapeutic placement. She reviews and synthesizes mental health and educational evaluations together — an integration rarely possible without expertise in both domains — to help families identify the right level of care. From there, she presents options across the full spectrum of care — from outdoor behavioral healthcare, inpatient care, and residential treatment to therapeutic boarding schools, young adult transition programs, and intensive outpatient support — with complete independence from every program she discusses. Her goal is to make sure every family has what they need to make a well-informed decision — and to feel less alone in making it.
