Ethics for TCA Member

TCA is a professional association founded on the four core principles of collaboration, training, research, and ethical best practice. All members, regardless of their level of membership, are expected to operate within the Ethical Guidelines of TCA, and initial and ongoing membership in TCA indicates a professional’s commitment to these guidelines. Although questions of ethics are often, by their nature, complex and situational, the field of therapeutic consulting takes ethics violations seriously.

Submit an Ethics Concern

TCA members acknowledge the Ethical Guidelines and agree to uphold those standards when renewing their membership. For any program, consultant, or referring professional that has a concern about a TCA member, you can submit an anonymous concern through the form below. The Ethics Committee will review the submission and investigate the named TCA member. Ethical violations are prioritized and taken seriously. If the violation is proven to be true, membership status may be revoked effective immediately.
